Good morning World!
My name is Mia
and I´m a VET teacher student at the University of Göteborg. During 5 weeks in
September and beginning of October I did my first internship as a VET teacher
at Burgårdens Utbildningscentrum. In this blog I would like to give you all a
small introduction to the Hotel and Tourism program. The program is a
Vocational program, a part of the upper secondary education in Sweden. The
program is intended for students who wish to work with tourism, hotels and
conferences. Burgårdens Utbildningscentrum is located in the city center of
Göteborg and the school has 1200 students.
The school offers 4 different VET programs.

The Hotel and Tourism Program
The Handicrafts Program
The school also have an introduction program, adult education and also education for studnets with aspberger syndrome.
The school do have many students but it is normal in Sweden if you live in a big city.
The Child Care and Recreation Program and
The Natural Resources Program
