To create

To create!

Young students working in the metal workshop!
In our school we have big areas for working as in a real factory or company.
The students can fabricate different things as in a real situation!
We always want to strengthen the vocational skills.

  1. Good morning from Australia, Carina!
I am interested to know how the education is funded in your country? What fees do students have to pay or is it covered by the government through tax?
I want to know this because in Australia traditionally most VET courses were offered through government-owned colleges called TAFEs (Technical and Further Education) and cost the student either a nominal fee or nothing at all. However now these days, students are more likely to study through a private college and borrow student loan money from the government to fund their training. Even the government TAFEs charge significant fees for some courses as they now compete with private colleges. So I am interested to know in your country:
    * What the course fees are like / how the system is paid for?
    * Whether there is a mix of government and private VET schools?

    Regards,
    James
