The Restaurant and Food program

Above you can see the practice room for the chef students, the bakery and the restaurant kitchen. The last two pictures shows the hall outside the restaurant where the bakery students sells different kinds of pastries every week. It´s almost impossible to pass by without bying anything. Yummi!

      Yes they really have space. The second and third year are in the kitchen 2-3 times a week, half or whole days.

  2. Hi Ann! I'm wondering how much the students can affect the choice of food/pastries you make. Is there a certain list of things every class needs to learn to make, or can they suggest new things according to their interests? (For example some ethnic foods or trendy things?)

    1. Hi Maria,
      I´m not that familiar with the Food an Restaurant program but I know that the bakerystudents have different things they learn to bake every week. For example buns. Everyone bake buns but they can chose for example filling. The students that cook for the á la carte restaurant have different themes, for example french theme. I´m not sure how much they can affect their choices.
